Batch QR Code Generator

Batch QR Code Generator

Paste a list of URLs or text and generate up to 100 QR codes at once. Each QR is rendered in a preview grid, and you can download them all as a ZIP of PNG files or grab any single code on its own. Perfect for menu QR cards, event badges, product labels, asset tags, and any time you need many codes in one go without copy-pasting into a single-code generator a hundred times.

Comment utiliser

  1. Paste your URLs or text into the input box, one entry per line.
  2. Pick an error correction level — Medium is fine for screen scans; use Quartile or High if the QR will be printed and might get damaged or scuffed.
  3. Adjust dot size, margin, foreground color, and background color to match where the codes will be displayed.
  4. Choose how files are named: sequential numbers, the URL’s domain, or a slug of the content.
  5. Cliquez Generate QR Codes to render the preview grid.
  6. Cliquez Télécharger .zip to grab every code as PNG files, or click the download icon under any single QR to save just that one.

Caractéristiques

  • Bulk input – Generate up to 100 QR codes at once from a single textarea, one entry per line.
  • Multi-content support – Works for URLs, plain text, Wi-Fi strings, tel: links, mailto: links — anything you can encode into a QR.
  • Error correction levels – Pick Low, Medium, Quartile, or High depending on whether the code will be displayed on a screen or printed and scuffed in the real world.
  • Couleurs personnalisées – Set foreground and background colors with a color picker so your codes match the brand they live on.
  • Preview grid – Every code renders to its own canvas with the original value shown underneath so you can sanity-check before downloading.
  • Per-code download – Save any single QR as a PNG or copy its data URL straight from the preview.
  • ZIP bundle – Download every successful code as a single ZIP that also includes a manifest.txt mapping each filename back to its encoded value.
  • Filename modes – Sequential numbering, URL domain, or content slug — whichever makes the most sense for your batch.
  • Client-side – Everything runs in your browser. The values you encode never leave your machine.

FAQ

  1. What is QR code error correction and which level should I pick?

QR codes use Reed-Solomon error correction so they can still be decoded when part of the image is dirty, scratched, or covered. The four levels recover roughly 7% (L), 15% (M), 25% (Q), and 30% (H) of the data. Higher correction means a denser, more pixel-heavy code because extra redundancy bytes are packed in. For screens, Low or Medium is usually enough. For print, especially on packaging or labels that might wear, Quartile or High is the safer choice.

  2. Why does QR module count and density grow as I add more characters?

QR codes have 40 "versions" — version 1 is 21×21 modules, version 40 is 177×177. As your payload gets longer, the encoder upgrades to a larger version to fit the data plus the error correction bytes. That is why a one-line URL renders as a small, crisp grid while a long Wi-Fi string or vCard produces a much denser code with many more tiny squares.

  3. Are dark-on-light QR codes the only ones that scan reliably?

Cameras decode QR codes based on contrast between modules (dots) and the quiet zone around them, so you have flexibility — but the dark color must be noticeably darker than the light color and contrast should stay high. Inverted codes (light dots on a dark background) work in many modern decoders but fail in older ones, so for codes that must scan everywhere it is safer to keep dots dark and background light.

  4. Why does every QR code need a quiet zone (margin) around it?

The quiet zone is the empty padding around a QR code. Decoders use it to locate the three finder patterns in the corners and lock onto the grid. The QR specification recommends a minimum quiet zone equal to 4 modules wide. Without it, surrounding graphics or text can blur the boundary and prevent scanning. That is why every QR generator, including this one, lets you set a margin and defaults it to something safe.
