For compressed formats like MP3, AAC, and OGG, the formula is: file size (MB) = (bitrate in kbps × duration in seconds) / 8000. The bitrate determines the amount of data used per second of audio, so higher bitrates produce larger but higher-quality files.
What is the difference between lossy and lossless audio formats?
