Random Bitcoin Address Generator
Guia
Random Bitcoin Address Generator
Generate random Bitcoin wallet addresses for testing and development. Create properly formatted addresses in all four major Bitcoin address formats — Legacy (P2PKH), Script Hash (P2SH), SegWit (Bech32), and Taproot (Bech32m). Ideal for testing payment processing integrations, populating test databases, and validating address format checks.
Como usar
Set the number of addresses to generate (1–50), select an address type or leave it on Random for a mix of all formats. Click Gerar to create your Bitcoin address list. Copy results to your clipboard or download as a text file.
Características
- 4 Address Formats – Legacy (starts with 1), P2SH (starts with 3), SegWit Bech32 (starts with bc1q), and Taproot Bech32m (starts with bc1p)
- Correct Character Sets – Base58 for Legacy/P2SH (no ambiguous 0, O, I, l) and Bech32 charset for SegWit/Taproot
- Proper Length – Each format generates addresses with correct character counts matching real Bitcoin address specifications
Perguntas frequentes
-
What are the different Bitcoin address formats?
Bitcoin has four main address formats. Legacy (P2PKH) addresses start with 1 and use Base58 encoding. P2SH addresses start with 3 and support multi-signature and script-based transactions. Bech32 (SegWit) addresses start with bc1q and offer lower transaction fees. Bech32m (Taproot) addresses start with bc1p and enable advanced smart contract functionality introduced in the 2021 Taproot upgrade.
-
Why does Base58 encoding exclude certain characters?
Base58 encoding deliberately removes four characters from the standard Base62 set: 0 (zero), O (uppercase o), I (uppercase i), and l (lowercase L). These characters were excluded because they look similar to each other in many fonts, which could lead to transcription errors when copying Bitcoin addresses by hand or reading them from screens. This design choice reduces the risk of sending funds to the wrong address.
-
Are these generated addresses connected to real wallets?
No. These are randomly generated strings that follow Bitcoin address formatting rules but are not derived from actual cryptographic key pairs. They have no associated private keys and cannot receive or send real Bitcoin. They are designed purely for testing purposes — validating address format checks, populating test databases, and testing payment UI components.
