Email Normalizer

The Email Normalizer tool standardizes email addresses by applying common normalization rules. Do dots actually matter in Gmail addresses?

No. Gmail ignores all dots in the local part of an email address. For example, john.doe@gmail.com and johndoe@gmail.com both deliver to the same inbox. This is a Gmail-specific behavior and does not apply to most other email providers.
What is a plus alias in an email address?

A plus alias (also called sub-addressing) is a technique where you add a + sign followed by any text before the @ symbol. For example, user+shopping@gmail.com still delivers to user@gmail.com. It is commonly used for filtering and tracking signups.
