Browser extension

Every tool, one keystroke away.

A launcher for iotools.cloud. Search 500+ free tools from any tab and jump straight to the one you need — without loading the site first.

Free, like the tools. Browser extensions install on desktop only — on mobile, the tools directory is a tap away instead.

What it does

Search from anywhere

Open the popup in any tab and type. The whole catalogue is there — no need to load the site first and hunt through categories.

Keyboard-first

Arrow keys to move, Enter to open. The same muscle memory as the ⌘K palette on the site, minus the trip to the site.

Nothing to sign in to

It's a launcher, not an account. It reads no page content and asks for no browsing permissions — it just opens tools.

Questions

Do I need the extension to use the tools?

No. Every tool works in the browser at iotools.cloud/tools, and the site has the same ⌘K search built in. The extension only saves you the trip to the site first — it's for people who reach for these tools often enough that the trip adds up.

What can it see?

Nothing you type into a tool, and nothing on the pages you visit. It doesn't read page content or your browsing history — it opens a popup with a list of tools and navigates to the one you pick. Most tools then run entirely in your browser anyway, so your input never leaves your device.

I use Brave, Arc or Vivaldi.

Install from the Chrome Web Store — those browsers all run Chrome extensions. Edge, Firefox and Opera have their own listings above.

Is there a Safari version?

Not yet. Safari extensions need a separate build and an Apple developer account, so it depends on whether enough people ask. Tell us if you want one— that's genuinely how it gets prioritised.
