Paste or upload an OPML file — the format podcast apps and RSS readers export your subscriptions to — and instantly turn it into nested JSON, a flat JSON feed list, a Markdown bullet list, or a plain text feed list. Folder categories (the way most readers group feeds) are preserved in every format. Everything runs in your browser — nothing is uploaded.
How to use it
- Paste your OPML XML into the input box, or upload an
.opml/.xmlfile. - Pick an Output format:
- Nested JSON keeps the exact folder structure, with
childrenarrays for subfolders. - Flat JSON lists every feed as one array, each entry carrying a
categoryfield with its folder breadcrumb (e.g."News > Tech"). - Markdown list renders the same tree as nested bullet points — folders in bold, feeds as clickable links — ready to paste into a wiki or note.
- Plain text list is a flat, one-line-per-feed list (
[Category] Title — URL) for quick scanning or piping into another tool.

What's in an OPML file?
OPML (Outline Processor Markup Language) is an XML format built around nested <outline> elements. A podcast/RSS export nests feed outlines (carrying title, type, xmlUrl and htmlUrl) inside folder outlines (which have no xmlUrl of their own) — this tool reads that structure directly, so category folders of any depth are handled correctly.
Does it show the feed type (RSS, Atom, podcast)?
Yes — each feed's type attribute (as written in the file, usually rss) is included in both JSON formats, so you can filter or group by it downstream.
Is my data private?
Completely. Parsing runs entirely in your browser using a self-contained XML tokenizer — your OPML file is never sent to a server, logged, or stored.
Can I go the other way and parse a live feed instead of an export?
