Guides

Compare two images pixel by pixel and highlight exactly where they differ — useful for visual regression checks, spotting compression artifacts, or confirming two exports are identical.

How to use it

  1. Drop or browse for two images (JPG, PNG, WEBP, or BMP — up to 10MB each).
  2. A diff image is generated automatically, along with the mismatch percentage, analysis time, and whether the two images share the same dimensions.
  3. Adjust the settings to change how differences are detected and highlighted, then download the diff image.

Settings

  • Ignore — how sensitive the comparison is: ignore nothing (exact pixel match), ignore less (default, small tolerance), ignore colors, ignore antialiasing, or ignore alpha.
  • Scale — compare images at their original size, or scale the second image to match the first before comparing.
  • Diff color — the color used to highlight mismatched pixels.
  • Diff type — flat, movement, flat with diff intensity, movement with diff intensity, or diff-only (just the difference, cropped to its bounding box).
  • Opacity — how opaque the highlighted differences appear over the base image.

Privacy

Everything runs entirely in your browser. Your images are never uploaded to a server.
