Generate relevant hashtags for Instagram, TikTok, X/Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn from a topic or keywords. Mixes tags built directly from your text with curated evergreen tags from 15 topic categories, capped to each platform's practical limit.

Input

Separate phrases with commas or new lines. Each phrase becomes its own hashtag, plus one for every individual word in it.

General Engagement

Mix in evergreen popular tags from these topics alongside the ones built from your text above.

Settings

Caps the result to that platform's practical hashtag limit, even if you ask for more below.

TitleCase only affects tags built from your own text — curated tags stay lowercase as authored.

Guides

Turn a topic or a handful of keywords into a ready-to-paste hashtag set. Type what your post is about, tick a few relevant categories, and this generates a mix of tags built directly from your words plus curated, evergreen tags from the categories you picked — capped to whatever your target platform can actually use.

The generator itself runs entirely in your browser — nothing you type into it is sent anywhere. The optional "Suggest more with AI" box below it is the one exception: that one sends the topic you type into that box to our server and on to an AI provider (see step 5).

How to use it

  1. Enter a topic or keywords — separate phrases with commas or new lines. Each phrase becomes its own combined hashtag (morning coffee#morningcoffee), plus one hashtag for every individual word in it.
  2. Tick one or more curated categories (Travel, Food & Drink, Fitness, Business, Gaming, and 11 more) to mix in tags people already search and browse by.
  3. Pick your platform — the result is capped to what actually makes sense there.
  4. Set the number of hashtags and your preferred case style, then copy the list or download it as a text file. The breakdown table below shows which tag came from your text versus which category it was pulled from.
  5. Want tags tailored more specifically to your exact topic? Use the "Suggest more with AI" box below the tool — it asks an AI model for a handful of extra hashtags on top of the free list. Unlike everything above, this one costs a small number of credits per click (shown on the button) since it calls a paid AI provider; the rest of the tool stays free and instant.

Platform limits

  • Instagram — up to 30 hashtags, its own hard cap.
  • TikTok — best kept to around 10; captions get crowded past that.
  • X (Twitter) / LinkedIn — 1–5 is the practical ceiling; more reads as spam and eats into your character count.
  • Facebook — a handful (up to 8) outperforms a long list.
  • General / other — no platform-specific cap, up to 30.

Choosing a platform only clamps the result — it never blocks you from generating more; lower the platform or raise the slider to change how many come back.

Why does the same word appear twice sometimes?

It doesn't — duplicates are removed automatically, case-insensitively, across both your own keywords and every curated category you selected. If #love shows up once even though two categories both use it, that's the de-duplication working as intended.

What does TitleCase do?

It capitalizes each word inside a multi-word hashtag built from your own text (#MorningCoffee instead of #morningcoffee) — often called CamelCase hashtags. It makes a multi-word tag easier to read at a glance and lets screen readers announce it as separate words instead of one long run-on string. It only applies to tags built from your text; curated category tags stay lowercase, as they're commonly written.

Are these "trending" hashtags?

No — the curated lists are long-standing, broadly-used community tags rather than a live trends feed, so they won't go stale or mismatch what you see mid-scroll on the app. For real-time trending tags, check the platform's own Explore/Search page alongside this tool.
