How to use it
- Drop or browse for a PDF file.
- Pick an output format: JPG (smaller files, adjustable quality) or PNG (lossless, best for text and line art).
- Set the resolution — higher values produce sharper, larger images. 2× is a good default for on-screen use; go higher for print.
- Optionally limit the conversion to a page range like
1-3, 5. Leave it blank to convert every page. - Press Convert to image. Download each page individually, or grab them all as a ZIP.
Why convert in the browser?
The rendering is done locally with Mozilla's pdf.js engine — the same library Firefox uses to display PDFs. Your document never leaves your device, so private contracts, statements and scans stay private. It's also fast, because there's no upload or server round-trip.
JPG or PNG — which should I pick?
Choose JPG for photos and colourful pages where a small file size matters; the quality slider lets you trade sharpness for size. Choose PNG for pages that are mostly text, diagrams or screenshots, where you want crisp edges and no compression artefacts.
What resolution should I use?
The resolution multiplier scales the page up before rendering. 1×–2× is ideal for viewing on a screen or sharing online. Use 3×–4× when you need to print the image or zoom in on fine detail — just expect larger files.
Can it convert a specific page only?
Yes. Enter a page range such as 2 or 1-3, 7 to render just those pages. Blank means all pages.
