How to use it
- Drop or browse for two or more files — PDFs and PNG/JPEG images, in any combination.
- Use the up/down arrows next to each file to set the order. A PDF contributes every one of its pages; an image becomes one new page sized to fit it.
- Press Combine to PDF. The combined file downloads automatically as
combined.pdf.
Why combine files in the browser?
Most online tools like this upload your documents to a server and delete them later. This one does the whole job locally using the pdf-lib library, so a résumé, a signed contract, or an ID scan never leaves your computer. Because there's no upload or download round-trip, combining is also near-instant even for large files.
Does the page order match my file order?
Yes. Files combine in exactly the order shown in the list, top to bottom — every page of a PDF is kept, and each image becomes its own page in that spot.
What if I only have PDFs, or only images?
Either works fine — you don't need one of each. If every file is a PDF, this behaves like Merge PDF. If every file is an image, Image to PDF covers page-size and orientation options this tool doesn't (it always sizes each image's page to fit the image itself).
My cover letter or CV is a Word/Excel/PowerPoint file, not a PDF or image — what do I do?
Convert it to PDF first with the matching PDF Converter tool (Word to PDF, Excel to PDF, PowerPoint to PDF, and more), then combine the results here.
What if a PDF is password-protected?
A PDF that requires a password to open must be unlocked first — use the Unlock PDF tool, then combine the result.
