What this does
Renders an Encapsulated PostScript (.eps) file as a JPG image. The image is cropped to the artwork's bounding box, so you get the graphic itself rather than a blank page around it. Vector shapes and text are rasterised at the resolution you pick.
How to use it
- Upload your .eps file.
- Pick a resolution — 72 DPI for screens, 300 DPI or more for print.
- Convert (1 credit) and download the .jpg file.
Good to know
Higher DPI means a larger image: a 4-inch-wide graphic at 600 DPI is 2,400 px wide. The conversion happens on our servers, and the file is deleted shortly after. Need transparency? Use [EPS to PNG](/tool/eps-to-png/). Going the other way, [PNG to EPS](/tool/png-to-eps/) wraps a raster image in an EPS file.
