PNG to EPS Converter
Convert a PNG (or JPG/WebP) image into an Encapsulated PostScript .eps file for print and design workflows — set the print resolution and background colour. Free and private, entirely in your browser.
Input
PNG, JPG or WebP. Nothing is uploaded; everything runs in your browser.
72 = one pixel per point. Higher values give a smaller printed size.
EPS has no transparency, so transparent pixels are filled with this colour.

What this does
Wraps a PNG, JPG or WebP image in an Encapsulated PostScript (.eps) file, the format many print shops, publishers and older design tools still ask for. Everything runs in your browser — the image is never uploaded.
How to use it
- Upload your image.
- Set the print resolution (DPI). 72 DPI makes one pixel one point; 300 DPI shrinks the same image to a print-sized area.
- Pick a background colour for transparent areas — EPS has no transparency channel, so transparent pixels are filled with this colour.
- Download the
.epsfile.
Raster, not vector
The EPS contains your pixels as an embedded bitmap, so it opens correctly everywhere EPS is accepted, but it does not become scalable vector art. To trace a bitmap into vector shapes, use an image-to-SVG converter instead.
Compression
Flate compression (on by default) makes the file much smaller and works in any PostScript Level 2 interpreter, including Ghostscript, Illustrator and Affinity. Turn it off only for a very old RIP.
