The Fake Email Address Generator creates realistic-looking, made-up email addresses on demand. It is built for developers, QA engineers, designers and anyone who needs believable sample data without touching a real inbox. Every address is assembled from common first and last names paired with a domain of your choosing, so the results look like the addresses you would find in a real user table, yet none of them belong to anyone.

How to use it

1. Pick an email format for the local part (the text before the @). Options range from firstname.lastname and f.lastname to a username123 style, plus a "Random mix" that varies the style on every line.
2. Choose a domain. Use "Random popular domains" to spread addresses across providers like gmail.com and outlook.com, select a single provider, or pick "Custom domain" and type your own (for example staging.acme.test).
3. Set how many addresses to generate — anywhere from 1 to 1000.
4. Choose an output format: a plain list (one address per line), CSV with an email header, or a JSON array.
5. Click Generate emails, then copy the result or download it as a file.

Generated addresses are de-duplicated within a single run, so you never get the same address twice in one list.

What are the emails good for?

Seeding a development database, filling out a design mockup, load-testing a signup form, or demonstrating a feature without exposing customer data. Because the output comes as plain text, CSV or JSON, it drops straight into spreadsheets, fixtures and seed scripts.

Are these real email addresses?

No. The addresses are randomly assembled from name and domain word lists. They are not verified against any mail server, and any given address may or may not coincidentally exist. Never send mail to a generated address or treat it as a deliverable contact — it is sample data only.

Which format should I choose?

firstname.lastname and firstname_lastname read most like corporate accounts. f.lastname mimics the "first initial" convention many companies use. username123 adds random digits for a consumer-style handle. "Random mix" is handy when you want variety across a large list so the data does not look templated.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes. Select "Custom domain" and enter any domain you like, such as example.com or an internal test domain. The generator validates the basic shape of the domain before producing addresses.

Privacy

This tool runs entirely in your browser. Your format choices, custom domain and count are never uploaded, and the generated addresses are produced locally on your device. Nothing is stored or sent to a server, so you can generate as many lists as you need in complete privacy.
