How to use it

1. Drop or choose two or more images (JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF or BMP).
2. Use the up/down arrows next to each file to put them in the order you want them to play.
3. Set the frame delay — how long each image stays on screen before the next one appears.
4. Set a max width if your photos are large; the GIF is scaled down (never up) to fit, keeping each image's own aspect ratio.
5. Toggle Loop forever on or off.
6. Press Create GIF, then Download the result.

Private by default

Every image is drawn to a <canvas> in your browser and quantized straight into the GIF's color palette there too — nothing is uploaded anywhere.

Why do my images all end up the same size in the GIF?

An animated GIF's frames all share one canvas size, so every image is scaled down (never up) to fit within the first image's dimensions and centered on a white background, keeping its own aspect ratio.

Can every frame have its own delay?

This version applies one delay to every frame, which covers the vast majority of "turn these photos into a GIF" use cases. If you need per-frame timing or other edits on a GIF you already have, the GIF Editor can change playback speed, resize, crop, rotate, reverse or optimize an existing animated GIF.

I have a video, not separate images — can I still make a GIF?

Yes — use Video to GIF instead, which samples frames straight from a video clip.
