What does this calculator do?
Most fraction calculators only handle two fractions at a time. This one takes a whole expression — as many fractions, mixed numbers and decimals as you like — and evaluates it exactly, giving the simplified fraction, mixed number, decimal and percentage, plus every intermediate step.
How to use it
- Type your expression, e.g.
1/2 + 3/4 - 2/3 × 5/6. - Use
+,−,×(orx,*) and÷(or:). The/is always the fraction bar. - Write mixed numbers with a space:
1 1/2 + 2 3/4. Decimals like0.25work too. - Use parentheses to change the order:
(1/2 + 1/3) ÷ 5/6.
Order of operations
Multiplication and division are done before addition and subtraction, left to right, and parentheses go first. Every step is listed so you can follow the working.
Exact arithmetic
Results are computed with exact big-integer fractions — no rounding until the decimal display, so 1/3 + 1/3 + 1/3 is exactly 1.

How do I divide fractions here?
Use ÷ or : — for example 1/2 ÷ 3/4 = 2/3. The slash is reserved for the fraction bar.
Can I add more than two fractions?
Yes, there is no limit: 1/2 + 1/3 + 1/4 + 1/5 works.
