Random Name Picker

Draw one or more winners completely at random from any list of names. Paste the list (or upload a text file), choose how many winners, and pick — perfect for giveaways, raffles, classroom cold-calls and settling who goes first.

How to use it

1. Enter your names — one per line, or separated by commas, spaces, pipes or semicolons (set the Name separator to match).
2. Choose how many winners to pick (1–40). Winners are drawn without replacement, so nobody can win twice in one draw.
3. Hit Pick winners. Copy or download the result for your records.

What is this for?

Is the draw actually fair?

Yes — every name in the list has an exactly equal chance on every draw, and picking multiple winners uses a without-replacement shuffle, so the same name can't be drawn twice in one run. Duplicate entries do increase a name's odds, so paste carefully (or de-duplicate first with the Random Team Generator's duplicate remover).

Can I pick more than one winner?

Yes — set Winners to pick up to 40 (limited to the number of names in your list). First, second and third prize? Draw 3 winners and award them in the order they appear.

Does it work offline / is my data private?

The picker runs entirely in your browser — your name list never leaves your device, and uploaded files are read locally. Nothing is stored or sent anywhere, which matters when the list is a class roster or customer names.
