Turn a long URL into a short /go/<code>/ link that's easy to share, paste, or print — and see how many times it's been clicked. No signup required. Creating a link costs the credits shown on the button.

Short links point to whatever URL their creator entered — we don't review, scan, or vouch for the destination. We're not responsible if a link someone else shares turns out to be malicious, deceptive, or carries malware; treat an unfamiliar short link the same way you'd treat any other URL you didn't type yourself.

How does it work?

1. Paste your long URL and pick how long the link should stay active (1 day, 7 days, 30 days, or 90 days).
2. We generate a short, random code and give you back two links: the short link (share this one — it redirects visitors to your original URL) and a manage link (keep this one private).
3. Anyone who clicks the short link is redirected instantly (a temporary 302, not a permanent one — search engines won't treat it as equivalent to your destination), and the click count goes up.

What's the manage link for?

It's the only way to check the click count or delete the link later — the short link's own visitors can never see how many people clicked it. The manage link carries a private token in its URL, generated once at creation and never shown again, so keep it somewhere safe. There's no account behind any of this, so a lost manage link can't be recovered — but the short link itself keeps working regardless.

How long do links last?

You choose at creation: 1 day, 7 days, 30 days, or 90 days. When a link expires, the short URL stops redirecting and the manage link stops working automatically — expired links are cleaned up on their own, nothing to do on your end. There's no way to extend an existing link's expiry — create a new one instead.

What URLs can I shorten?

Any public http:// or https:// link. You can't shorten one of our own short links (no chaining), and there's no support for javascript:, data:, or other non-web schemes.

Is this private?

We don't require an account, and we don't track anything beyond the click count on your own link. The manage token is stored on our servers only as a one-way hash, so even we can't reconstruct it from what's stored — only the link we handed you at creation time works.
