Font to PNG

Preview or export any font file as an image — upload a TTF, OTF, WOFF or WOFF2 file, type your text, and download it rendered in that font as a PNG. No account, no upload to a server, and no watermark.

How to use it

1. Drop or choose a font file — TTF, OTF, WOFF and WOFF2 are all supported.
2. Type the text you want rendered. Multiple lines work too — each line break in the text box becomes its own line in the image.
3. Adjust the font size, and pick left, center or right alignment (only visible once you have more than one line).
4. Pick a text color, and optionally switch Background to Solid color to fill the image behind the text instead of leaving it transparent.
5. The preview updates automatically as you type or adjust settings. Press Download when it looks right.

The image is sized automatically to fit whatever you typed, at whatever size you chose — there's no fixed canvas to overflow or leave mostly empty.

Private by default

The font file is loaded with the browser's own FontFace API and drawn to a <canvas> element entirely on your machine — it's never uploaded anywhere, and nothing is stored once you leave the page.

Why can't I see my font in a dropdown?

This tool renders a font you provide as a file, not one already installed in your browser or picked from a library — that's what makes it work for a custom or in-progress font you're testing, not just well-known families.

What if my font file doesn't load?

Only TTF, OTF, WOFF and WOFF2 are valid web font formats — a font in another format (like a raw bitmap font, or a font packaged inside a .zip) needs converting first. A corrupted or incomplete download is the other common cause; try re-downloading the file.

What if I need to add text to an existing image instead?
