What this does
Highlights text and adds sticky-note-style comments on a PDF, directly in your browser. Both are drawn straight onto the page, so they're visible in any PDF viewer and when printed — not hidden behind a popup that only some viewers render.
How to use it
- Upload your PDF.
- Switch to Highlight mode and drag over the text or area you want to mark, or switch to Comment mode and click to drop a numbered pin, then type your note.
- Pick a highlight color if you'd like something other than yellow.
- Click Apply annotations — this runs entirely in your browser.
- Download the annotated PDF.
Is this permanent?
Yes — highlights and comments are drawn directly onto the page as part of the file, the same way a pen mark or a sticker would be. They can't be toggled off later, so double-check placement before applying. If you need to permanently black out content instead of marking it up, see Redact PDF.

Your file never leaves your device — rendering, annotating, and saving all happen locally in your browser.
