Convert a Kindle AZW3 (KF8) ebook into a classic MOBI file for older Kindles and e-readers that don't understand the newer format. The conversion runs in your browser, so the book is never uploaded.

How to use it

  1. Drop a .azw3 file onto the upload box.
  2. Press Convert to MOBI.
  3. Download book.mobi.

What is carried over

  • The book's title, author, publisher, description and language.
  • All chapters in reading order.
  • Images and the cover.

Limits

  • DRM-protected books (most purchases from the Kindle store) can't be read and are rejected. Only DRM-free files convert.
  • MOBI is an older format: it keeps basic text formatting (headings, paragraphs, bold/italic, lists, images, external links) but drops custom CSS and internal links.
  • Fixed-layout books (comics, children's picture books) are not reproduced faithfully.
