PDF to AZW3 turns a text-based PDF into a modern Kindle AZW3 (KF8) ebook you can read on a Kindle or any AZW3-capable e-reader app. It runs in your browser — the PDF is never uploaded.

How to use it

  1. Upload a PDF.
  2. Optionally set the book title and author (the title defaults to "Converted PDF").
  3. Choose whether each page becomes a chapter headed "Page N".
  4. Press Convert and download the .azw3 file.

What carries over?

The tool reads the PDF's embedded text with pdf.js and packs it as one chapter per page. Page layout, columns, fonts and images are not preserved — you get clean, reflowable text, which is what e-readers want anyway.

Scanned PDFs

A PDF that's just page images has no text to extract. Run it through Scanned PDF Converter first to add a text layer.
