The QR Code Style Tool turns a plain black-and-white QR code into a branded one: your colours, softer rounded or dot-shaped modules, and your logo dropped into the middle. When you're happy with it, download a crisp, high-resolution PNG ready for a poster, business card, packaging, or a slide.

How to use it

  1. Enter the text or URL the code should point to.
  2. Start from a style preset (Classic, Rounded, Dots, Classy, Sharp), or fine-tune it yourself:
    • Module shape — square, rounded, dots, classy, classy-rounded or extra-rounded.
    • Corner frame and corner dot — style the three big finder squares separately from the body.
  3. Set the colours — a single foreground, or flip on Gradient fill for a two-colour blend. Choose a background or make it transparent.
  4. Optionally drop a logo in the centre and size it.
  5. Tune the export size and quiet zone, then download as a crisp PNG or a scalable SVG — or copy the SVG markup straight into your page.

Keeping it scannable

Styling a QR code is a balance — push it too far and phones stop reading it. A few rules keep yours reliable:

  • Contrast is everything. Keep the foreground much darker than the background. Light-on-dark or low-contrast codes fail on many cameras.
  • Use high error correction with a logo. The tool defaults to the highest level (H, ~30% recovery) so a centre logo doesn't destroy the data. Keep the logo under about a quarter of the code's width.
  • Leave the quiet zone. The empty margin around the code is part of the spec — don't crop it out when you place the image.
  • Test before you print. Scan the downloaded PNG with a couple of different phones first.

Does this replace the plain QR generator?
