Higher bitrate = sharper picture, bigger file. The video is re-encoded in real time, so conversion takes as long as the clip.

What WebM to MOV does

Turn a WebM clip or screen recording into a QuickTime MOV. The conversion runs in your browser, so the video is never uploaded.

How to use it

  1. Upload a WebM file.
  2. Pick a video quality (bitrate).
  3. Click Convert to MOV, preview the result, then download it.

Good to know

Your browser plays the video and re-records it, so conversion takes about as long as the clip itself — keep the tab open. The output is H.264 video with AAC audio in a QuickTime-compatible container. Browsers that cannot record MP4 (Firefox, for example) save a WebM instead and say so. Re-encoding is lossy, so choose a higher quality for sharp footage.

Privacy

Playback and encoding happen on your device. Nothing is sent to a server.
