Guides
Mirror a photo along its horizontal or vertical axis — the Flip Image tool turns a picture into its left-right or top-bottom mirror image, or flips it both ways at once, all without touching a single pixel value.
How it works
Upload an image, then choose a direction:
- Flip Horizontally — mirrors the image left-to-right, like a reflection in a vertical mirror.
- Flip Vertically — mirrors the image top-to-bottom, like a reflection in a still pond.
- Flip Both — mirrors on both axes at once, equivalent to a 180° rotation combined with a horizontal flip.
The preview updates instantly as you change the direction. You can download the result as an SVG file, or copy its source markup directly.
Tips
- Flipping horizontally is handy for correcting "mirrored" photos taken with a front-facing camera, where text and details end up backwards.
- Flip Both is a quick way to simulate a photo taken from the opposite side of a scene, without needing to physically re-shoot it.
- The downloaded SVG stays crisp at any size since it's a vector wrapper around your original image — resizing it doesn't lose quality the way a rasterized export would.
