Guides
Give a photo a soft, luminous glow — the Glow Effect tool lifts brightness, sharpens contrast, boosts color and adjusts gamma all at once, so skin tones and highlights pick up a warm, radiant lift without you having to juggle several separate sliders.
How it works
Upload an image, then adjust a single slider:
- Glow Intensity — a 1–10 dial that scales every part of the effect together: brightness lifts, contrast sharpens, colors saturate, and gamma opens up the midtones. Low values (1–3) give a gentle lift; higher values (7–10) produce a strong, glowing wash.
The result renders instantly as you move the slider. You can download the result as an SVG file, or copy its source markup directly.
Tips
- Start around intensity 3–4 for a natural, flattering glow — this matches the tool's default and works well for portraits.
- Push past 7 for a stylized, high-key look — bright highlights, punchy color, and lifted shadows, good for dreamy or ethereal edits.
- Pair Glow Effect with a light crop or vignette (outside this tool) to keep the brightened frame from feeling washed out at the edges.
- The downloaded SVG stays crisp at any size since it's a vector wrapper around your original image — resizing it doesn't lose quality the way a rasterized export would.
