Crop Image

Crop a photo or graphic right in your browser — upload an image, drag a resizable crop box over the part you want to keep, and download the result. No account, no upload to a server, and no watermark.

How to use it

1. Drop or choose a JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF or BMP image.
2. Drag the crop box to move it, or drag any of its corner/edge handles to resize it.
3. Optionally pick an aspect ratio preset — Free, 1:1 (square), 4:3, 3:4, 16:9, 9:16, 3:2 or 2:3 — to snap the box to a fixed proportion while you resize it.
4. Press Crop, then Download the result.

The crop is rendered from the image's original, full-resolution pixels — not the shrunk-down preview you're dragging over — so the download is never blurrier than the source.

Private by default

Cropping happens entirely on a <canvas> in your browser. The image is never uploaded anywhere, and nothing is stored once you leave the page.

What format is the download?

JPEG and WebP sources download as the same format; everything else (PNG, GIF, BMP, and any format a browser can decode but not losslessly re-encode) downloads as PNG so no image data is lost.

Can I crop to an exact pixel size?

The crop box is drag-to-resize rather than typed coordinates — for pixel-exact crops, pick the closest aspect ratio preset and resize until the box reaches the size you need; the corner and edge handles let you get there precisely.

Does cropping reduce image quality?

No. Cropping only selects a region of the original pixels — it doesn't re-compress or resample anything inside the crop box, so the kept area comes out exactly as sharp as the source.
