Image Filters

Apply photo filters to an image and download the filtered result. Start from a named preset — B&W, Noir, Vintage, Sepia, Warm, Cool, Vivid, Fade, Dream or Invert — then keep adjusting with the individual brightness, contrast, saturation, hue, greyscale, sepia, invert and blur sliders. Every adjustment stacks on one live preview, so what you see is exactly what gets exported.

Everything happens in your browser. The image is read straight into the page, filtered on a canvas and re-encoded locally — nothing is uploaded, and there's no signup or watermark.

How to use it

1. Drop in a JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF or BMP.
2. Click a preset for a starting look, or go straight to the sliders.
3. Fine-tune brightness, contrast, saturation, hue, greyscale, sepia, invert and blur. Flip the image horizontally or vertically if you need a mirror.
4. Pick an output format (keep the original, or force PNG, JPEG or WebP) and, for the lossy formats, a quality level.
5. Press Download once you're happy with the preview — there's no separate "apply" step, the preview already shows exactly what you'll get.

Presets

The presets are just slider values with a name on them, so nothing is hidden from you:

• B&W — full greyscale.
• Noir — greyscale with strong contrast and a slightly darker exposure.
• Vintage — a sepia wash with lifted blacks and softened contrast.
• Warm / Cool — a small hue shift plus a touch more saturation, for a golden or a blue cast.
• Vivid — heavier saturation and contrast, for flat phone photos.
• Fade — desaturated and lifted, the washed-out matte look.
• Dream — a light blur with extra brightness and saturation.
• Invert — inverted colours, like a photographic negative.

Preview vs download

The on-screen preview is drawn at up to 720 px wide so dragging a slider stays instant even on a very large photo. View and Download both re-render the same filter stack at the image's native resolution, so the file you get is full size — not the downscaled preview.

Animated GIFs are flattened to a single frame, because a canvas only ever holds one.

On a browser without canvas filter support (pre-17 Safari), the tool falls back to building the same effect as an SVG filter graph — the same approach the rest of the ImageKit family uses — so every preset and slider still works.

Privacy

The tool is entirely client-side. Your image never leaves your device, so it works offline once the page has loaded and there's nothing on a server to delete afterwards.

I need the CSS, not a filtered image

Can I just blur or pixelate?

Yes — Blur Image and Pixelate Image are single-purpose versions of those two effects. To change the image's dimensions rather than its colours, use the Image Resizer.
