MP4 to OGG
Extract the audio from an MP4 video and save it as OGG (Opus) — choose the bitrate, preview the result and download. Runs entirely in your browser; the video is never uploaded.
Input
Higher bitrate = better quality, bigger file. 128–192 kbps suits most music; 64–96 kbps is fine for speech.
OGG audio
Upload a MP4 file, pick a bitrate and press Convert to OGG. Everything runs in your browser — the file is never uploaded.

What MP4 to OGG does
Pull the soundtrack out of an MP4 video and save it as an OGG file (Opus codec) — small, open-format audio for games, web pages and Linux players. The conversion happens in your browser, so your video is never uploaded.
How to use it
- Upload an MP4 file.
- Pick a bitrate, and optionally mix down to mono.
- Click Convert to OGG, preview the result, then download it.
Good to know
The audio is encoded as Opus at 48 kHz, which sounds good at lower bitrates than MP3 — 96–128 kbps suits most music and 64 kbps is plenty for speech. Converting from a lossy source can't restore detail that was already discarded. Your browser's built-in decoder reads the MP4, so if it can play the file it can convert it; DRM-protected files can't be decoded. Encoding needs a browser with WebCodecs audio support (current Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari).
Privacy
Decoding and OGG encoding both run on your device. Nothing is sent to a server.
