How to use it
Length maps onto Discord's own rules. Short handles (Rift, Vexi, Nyx) are punchy but almost always taken; medium ones give the generator room to combine words into something still available. Everything stays inside Discord's 3-32 character limit either way.
Complexity controls how far the handle strays from real words. Simple gives clean, readable combos; elaborate is more willing to blend, respell and stylise for uniqueness — useful precisely because the obvious spellings are gone.

How do I get a username that's actually available?
Give the generator something specific in the context box — a niche hobby, an in-joke, two interests to mash together. Generic requests produce generic handles that thousands of people have already claimed; a specific angle produces odder combinations that are far more likely to be free. Then check each candidate live in Discord, since the generator can't see what's taken.
Underscores or camelCase — which should I pick?
Either reads fine; it's aesthetics. Discord usernames are lowercased and can't contain capitals in the unique handle itself, so Night_Owl becomes night_owl — the underscore is what preserves the word break. Use the styling shown here for your display name, and let the underscore carry readability in the actual username.
