What OGG to MP3 does
OGG (Vorbis or Opus) is an open audio format that many players, car stereos and older devices don't support, while MP3 plays almost everywhere. Upload your OGG file, pick an MP3 bitrate, and download a standard MP3. The conversion happens in your browser — your file is never uploaded.
How to use it
- Upload an OGG file.
- Choose a bitrate (128–192 kbps suits most music, 64–96 kbps is fine for speech) and optionally mix down to mono.
- Click Convert to MP3, preview the result, then download it.
Good to know
Converting between lossy formats can't add quality back — pick a bitrate at or above the original's for the best result. The file is decoded by your browser's built-in audio decoder, so if your browser can play the file, it can convert it.
Privacy
Decoding and MP3 encoding both run on your device. Nothing is sent to a server.
