What OGG to WAV does
OGG (Vorbis or Opus) is common in games, open-source projects and voice recordings, but many editors and hardware samplers want plain WAV. Upload your OGG file and download a 16-bit PCM WAV you can use anywhere. The conversion happens in your browser — your file is never uploaded.
How to use it
- Upload an OGG file.
- Optionally mix down to mono to halve the file size.
- Click Convert to WAV, preview the result, then download it.
Good to know
WAV is uncompressed, so the file will be several times larger than the original, and converting from a lossy format can't restore detail that was already discarded. The file is decoded by your browser's built-in decoder, so if your browser can play it, it can convert it (Safari's OGG support is limited).
Privacy
Decoding and WAV encoding both run on your device. Nothing is sent to a server.
